A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is about Pip, who decides that, for her senior capstone project, she’s going to investigate a murder. A few years ago, Andie Bell mysteriously disappeared. When her boyfriend, Sal Singh, committed suicide a few weeks later, everyone assumed he murdered her, but Pip’s not so sure. She takes a deep dive into Andie’s case, hoping to prove that Sal is, in fact, innocent. Her investigation is going well until she begins to receive anonymous threats. As Pip uncovers more secrets, it becomes more and more obvious: whoever Andie’s murderer is, they’ll do anything not to be found.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is the perfect mystery, and it’ll keep you guessing until the very end. There are two more books in the series: Good Girl, Bad Blood and As Good as Dead. I’m currently reading them, and, so far, they’re just as fantastic as the first.
I would recommend this book for ninth grade readers and older, but anyone interested can enjoy reading it.
I give this book four out of five bookworms.
