The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me by Roald Dahl

The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me
By: Roald Dahl

The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me is a very surprising book. It is about some very magical creatures who surprisingly clean windows!

The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me is about a boy named Billy who lives in a house that is across the street from an empty wooden house. One day he finds out that there is a giraffe, pelican, and monkey living there. Read the book to find out what happens next.

My favorite character in this book is the Duke of Hampshire. He overreacts to funny things like someone picking cherries of his tree and he wants to kill him. The Giraffe is my second favorite character because the Duke of Hampshire doubts she can reach the top floor of the duke’s house and she proves him wrong.

This book would be good for first and second graders because it is a pretty short chapter book and it has some pictures.

I give this book 4 out of 5 bookworms . Bookworm
