Ella Enchanted is a very interesting story with some fairy tales mixed in.

Ella Enchanted is about a girl named Ella who at birth got a horrible gift from a fairy named Lucinda, the gift was obedience. She had to do everything people told her to. Later in her life she met a prince, his name was prince Charmont. Read the book to find out what happens.

My favorite characters are Ella and Mandy. Well, you know who Ella is. Mandy is Ella’s cook/Fairy Godmother. I like Ella because she is Independent and loving. I like Mandy because she is very kind.

This book is for third-fourth graders. Even though there is a fairy godmother, this isn’t like a Disney Princess story. There’s more to it.

I give this book 5 out of 5 bookworms!
