Ogre Enchanted

I read the book Ella Enchanted which is also by Gail Carson Levine and loved it. Then, I found Ogre Enchanted and read it too, and both are amazing! (Click here to see my previous review of Ella Enchanted.)

Ogre Enchanted is about a girl named Mistress Evie. She is a healer, and her best friend and patient is Wormy. One day as a joke Wormy proposes to Evie, Evie says she is too young. A fairy named Lucinda appears and asks Evie why she won’t marry him. Lucinda gets mad and turns Evie into an ogre. Lucinda says that if Evie doesn’t get a proposal and say yes in 62 days than she will be an ogre forever. Lucinda also cast a spell so that anyone who knows Evie is a person cannot say it.

One of my favorite characters is Lady Eleanor. She is a woman who meets Evie while she is an ogre and is loyal to her. She helps Evie a lot. Lady Eleanor is very nice to Evie.

This is a third-fifth grade book.
I give this book 5 out of 5 bookworms.
