A boy called BAt was great! Elana K. Arnold will even be at the 2019 Truman State University Children’s Literature Festival. I can’t wait to meet her! 🙂

A Boy Called Bat is about a boy named Bixby Alexander Tam, but people call him Bat. Bat loves animals! One day his mom brings home a baby skunk, and Bat instantly falls in love with it. His mom tells him not to get to attached because they are going to have to give the skunk to an animal rescue center in a month.

My favorite character is probably Bat. I like him because he loves animals so much. He always wants to take care of the skunk, Thor. He even wants to sleep with Thor! He really wants to keep Thor forever too.

This book is for ages third-fifth.

I give this book 4 ⅞ of a bookworm out of 5 bookworms.
