Enchanted Sacred Garden: Dragon by Angie Rooker

Enchanted Sacred Garden: Dragon
By: Angie Rooker

I was hooked to this book  when I read it. It was really good! Thanks to the author Angie Rooker for sending it to me! (And stay tuned — I am hoping to receive an advanced copy of her second book in this series so that I can let you know about it as well.)

This book is about a dragon named Dragon. She lost her parents when she was born. Some gnomes found her and soon became her family. In the story the gnomes-Papa, Mama, and Analene-send her to a school where she can interact with other dragons. She soon finds out that the dragons are not like she thought. There are some bullies that tease her every day.

One day at school they are learning about eggshells, and when Dragon finds her shell her stomach starts glowing, but she has no idea why. When she meets an older dragon named Mona, Mona explains it to her. So why does her shell make her glow?

My favorite character is Dragon. She is smart and eager to do and learn new things. Dragon is also very brave when she needs to be.

This book is for third-fifth grade.

I give this book 5 out of 5 bookworms.   Bookworm
