The Westing Game By Ellen Raskin

The Westing Game
By: Ellen Raskin

The Westing Game is a very good book. When I got it my mom wanted to read it (and she did). We both thought it was awesome.

This book is about a place called Sunset Towers where some people named Turtle, Sydelle Pulaski, Crow, Madame Hoo, and some other people lived. Now, one day they all got an invitation to the reading of Sam Westing’s will. This meant they were all heirs. This got them excited because they wanted the two-million dollar estate. It is a big surprise to hear in the will that they will be playing a game to figure out who killed Sam Westing. So everybody, who killed Sam Westing?

My all-time favorite character has to be Turtle. Turtle is a super-smart junior high student. She pretty much always wears a braid, and if someone touches her braid she kicks them in the shin. To her mother, Turtle is useless and means nothing compared to her older daughter, Angela.

This is a fourth-sixth grade book.

I give this book 5 out of 5 bookworms.   Bookworm
