The Thickety: The Whispering Trees by J. A. White

The Thickety: The Whispering Trees Book 2
By: J. A. White

The Thickety: The Whispering Trees is a very good book. I suggest reading the first book in this series first, or you’ll have almost no idea what they are talking about.

The Thickety: The Whispering Trees is about a girl named Kara who is a good witch. In the first book at the end it says that Kara and her little brother, Taff, run into a forest called the Thickety.

In the second book it continues on after that and they meet a witch, Mary Kettle, who in the stories did lots of bad things, but seems to want to help them. Sordyr is a really powerful and bad person in the book who wants Kara badly, so Mary’s offer to help them is really tempting. Read the book to find out what they do.

My favorite character is Taff. He is really understanding and he always wants to help if there is a way he can. My second place winner for my favorite character is Kara. She always tries her best and is very kind. Kara will do anything for Taff because she loves him.

The Thickety is a giant forest. It has lots of magic. In the place where Kara and Taff lived they didn’t like magic, so the Thickety was forbidden.

The Thickety: The Whispering Trees is a fifth grade book. If you do read this book I recommend reading the first book first.

I give this book 5 out of 5 bookworms.   Bookworm
