Me, Frida, and the Secret of the Peacock Ring
By Angela Cervantes
Me, Frida, and the Secret of the Peacock Ring is a fun, surprising, and exciting book.
Frida is a real artist, but the story is not true. I think Frida is very inspiring. Paloma is very brave. Paloma is the main character who visits Mexico and comes from Kansas. Frida is an artist in the book and in the real world.
The mystery of the peacock ring is a mystery that has been going on for years in the book. The artist Frida had a peacock ring made out of real silver, emeralds, and sapphires. It was stole and nobody could find it.
Me, Frida, and the Secret of the Peacock Ring is about a girl named Paloma who comes to Mexico to visit. She meets a lot of people, and one of them wants her to help them solve the mystery of the peacock ring. Paloma isn’t quite sure what to do at first. Read the book to find out what she does.
My favorite characters are Paloma and Gael. I like Paloma because she is brave, kind, and independent. I like Gael because he is determined. Gael is the person who wants to find the peacock ring with Paloma.
This is a fourth grade book.
I give this book 5 out of 5 bookworms.
