Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren

Pippi Longstocking
By: Astrid Lindgren

Pippi Longstocking is really funny and it makes me laugh out loud. One of the funny parts is Pippi doesn’t have parents, but she has a house. The police hear about it and go to her house to take her to an orphanage. Pippi likes her house so when they come she plays tag with them. She climbs on to the chimney, jumps onto the porch, climbs a tree, and a couple other things.

Pippi Longstocking is about a girl who doesn’t have a dad or a mom. She wears a blue dress with patches all over it, shoes way too big for her, different colored stockings, and braids in her red hair. Pippi is very strong and can lift up a horse. Read the book to find out what Pippi does.

My favorite girl is of course Pippi. She is funny, brave, and has a big imagination.

I don’t know many people who have read this book, but it is for second-fourth grade. I think you will like this book if you read it.

I give this book 5 out of 5 bookworms. Bookworm
