By Annie Barrows

Ivy & Bean Break the Fossil Record is the third book in the series.

They get an idea out of a book Ivy is reading. They decide to become the youngest paleontologists. A lot of kids question that they are really going to become the youngest paleontologists. Read the book to find out what happens.

A funny part is Ivy & Bean dig for dinosaur bones. They found bones, but they aren’t actually dinosaur bones. They ask Bean’s dad if they are real dinosaur bones, and the dad says no, but they are the most mysterious bones he’s ever seen. When they have to explain about the bones to the kids they called over to their house they say that an expert told them that they were the most mysterious bones he had ever seen.

This book is for first-second graders.
