I Want My Hat Back

This book is funny. It would be a good book to read to kids. It also a good book for kids learning to read. It is written with mostly easy to read words.

The book I Want My Hat Back is about a bear who has lost his hat. His hat is red and pointy. He walks around asking the animals he sees if they have seen his hat. Will he find his hat? You will have to read the book to find out why I say it’s so funny.

Jon Klassen has also written We Found a Hat, This Is Not My Hat, and Triangle.

In this story I really like the bear. He is very straight forward when he asks the animals if they have seen his hat. He always says the same thing. He asks them “Have you seen my hat,” and when they answer “Okay, thanks anyway.”

This book is for Preschool-First Grade.
I give his book 4 ½ bookworms out of five bookworms.
