Gnome-A-Geddon
K. A. Holt
Gnome-A-Geddon is an awesome book, and I couldn’t put it down. I am excited excited because K.A. Holt will be an author at the 2020 Truman State University Children’s Literature Festival, so I can get my book autographed.
Buck and his best friend Lizzie are HUGE fans of the Triumphant Gnome Syndicate series. Buck has every book memorized word for word. When they go to the book release party the author, Harold Macinaw mysteriously disappears. The next day Buck and Lizzie find strange clones of themselves and disappearing kids. Lizzie and Buck have an adventure in the world of the not-so-fake Triumphant Gnome Syndicate world in which they learn that real life isn’t like a story and that everything isn’t always as it seems. **Get ready for a bit plot twist!
My favorite characters in this book are probably Lizzie, Katya, and the Healer, but I will only tell you about Lizzie. Lizzie’s mom only lets her have organic stuff touch her skin, and she is only aloud to eat healthy stuff. Lizzie isn’t afraid to stand up for herself or tell somebody they are wrong.
This book is for fourth-sixth graders.
I give this book 5 out of 5 bookworms.
